You’ve Come So Far
I thought I would create a page to display screen shots of the Sleeping Giant Graffix site as it develops and changes. As of 1/22/2012, I’ve decided to build off of the WordPress theme Twenty Eleven dark version. So far, I like it’s look, feel and functionality the best and feel I should be able to build a descent, custom site from it.
2/6/2012 – I finally got most of the format changes and layout design coded out and uploaded. There are still some bugs to work out yet, but I like the look and feel of the site now. I’m still using WordPress and the core theme of Twenty Eleven. I’m impressed with the look, feel and functionality of it. It’s been a chore to recode some of the CSS at times, but I think it’s worth the effort. I’ve actually been working on the blueish-purple colors for over a year now, on and off. I was considering going with a strictly CSS based site that I had designed using these colors with the blue sky and puffy white cloud background, but I just couldn’t get away from the WordPress shell. I also formatted the image handling plugin to match the overall color scheme of the site.
For now, the colors and layout are done. It’s now just a matter of adding more content to the site. That will come in time.1/22/2012 – I made some slight modifications, mainly the custom header, the Twitter Widget and added this page. Planning to change the colors and format more towards blue-purple combo. I have some images and CSS formatting established in that direction already.
1/1/2012 – Installed WordPress 3 and began using the Twenty Eleven theme out of the box.
